Mike Bieraugel

Mike Bieraugel has extensive experience in the clinical laboratory field, currently serving as the CLS Training Program Coordinator at Scripps Health since February 2016, where coordination of a NAACLS accredited Clinical Laboratory Scientist training program is a primary responsibility. Prior roles include leading the Hematology and Coagulation departments within a multi-hospital system, achieving zero deficiencies during CAP inspections. Earlier in career at Allergan, Mike held the positions of Principal Scientist of Clinical Pathology and Manager Clinical Pathology, overseeing laboratory operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additionally, Mike contributed to professional leadership as the past Chair of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry’s Division of Animal Clinical Chemistry from 2009 to 2011. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from UC San Diego.
