Jennifer Armstrong

Jennifer Armstrong is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in biology and educational leadership. Currently serving as Associate Dean of Faculty and Faculty Director of the Scripps Post-Baccalaureate Program at Scripps College since May 2014, Jennifer also holds a professorship at Claremont McKenna College, Scripps College, and Pitzer College since June 2016. Jennifer's prior roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Biology at the same institutions from 2003 to 2015, and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1999 to 2003. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked as a scientist at Invitrogen in 1998. Jennifer earned a PhD in Biology from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from New Mexico State University.
