Alex Beers

Alex Beers is an experienced procurement and logistics professional with a strong background in inventory management and shipping coordination. Currently serving as a Procurement Manager at Scripps Research since May 2022, Alex previously held various roles at Intercept Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Procurement and Logistics Associate and Buyer. Earlier career experience includes positions at Vical as a Senior Warehouse Supervisor, as well as roles in shipping and production control at Winslow Associates. Alex began a career in logistics in the US Army as a Diesel Mechanic, gaining valuable technical skills and experience in inventory management.
