Ella Trubman

Ella Trubman has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Ella started their career in 2004 as a Development Assistant at the Tucson Jewish Community Center and later worked as an Assistant to the CFO at University Physicians Healthcare from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they became a Project Specialist at UC San Diego, followed by a role as a Grant Analyst at UCSD from 2010 to 2012. From 2013 to 2016, Ella was a Senior Grant Analyst at UC San Diego. Ella then joined The Scripps Research Institute in 2016 and held various roles, including PreAward Manager, Director of PreAward Administration, and currently holds the position of Senior Director in the Office of Sponsored Programs & Compliance since May 2021.

Ella Trubman completed their education at the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Arizona from 1998 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Linguistics. Additionally, Ella Trubman holds certifications such as Certified Research Administrator (CPRA) from the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC) and a Certified Research Administrator from the Society of Research Administrators International.
