Sean Mullen

Sean Mullen is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Security at Scripps Research since January 2020, Sean previously held multiple positions at Zovio from May 2012 to January 2020, focusing on security and safety management for over 4,000 employees across the continental United States. Prior to that, Sean worked at Pfizer from October 2003 to February 2012, where responsibilities included managing physical and electronic security for the Western region, as well as crisis management and loss prevention. Earlier in Sean's career, roles at Gateway involved supporting IT security and providing telecom and desktop support. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision Science and Management of Information Systems from George Mason University.
