James Colomb

James Colomb is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in both civilian and military environments. Currently serving as the Enterprise Security Director at The E.W. Scripps Company since May 2022, Colomb is responsible for developing and implementing security policies that ensure employee safety and operational continuity. Previously, Colomb held the position of Chief of Enterprise Threat Management at the United States Department of Defense, where a new Threat Management Unit was established under leadership, receiving recognition from the DNI for innovation in techniques and processes. Prior experience includes a Chief Petty Officer role at the US Coast Guard Investigative Service and serving as a Deportation Officer for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Onondaga Community College.
