Katie Wilson

Katie Wilson, M.Ed., AWI-CH, currently serves as the Senior Director of Employee Relations at The E.W. Scripps Company, building on extensive experience in human resources management. Previously at Freeport-McMoRan, Wilson held various HR roles, including Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR functions across multiple sites while providing strategic input, conducting investigations, and developing training programs. Early career experiences include financial aid counseling at The University of Arizona and Eastern Arizona College, along with administrative support in various departments. Wilson earned two Master of Education degrees in Human Relations and Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, further complemented by an Associate’s degree in Secondary Education.
