Mike Taylor

Mike Taylor is an experienced meteorologist currently serving as the Morning Meteorologist at The E.W. Scripps Company since June 2015, where responsibilities include anchoring a 4½ hour morning show and reporting on various weather-related topics. Prior experience includes roles as Weekend and Evening Meteorologist, delivering forecasts for multiple newscasts, and performing live reports during severe weather events. Mike's career began in meteorology with internships and positions at Nexstar Broadcasting Group, WBUP, and WBKB, where weather forecasting and graphic production were key tasks. Additionally, Mike has experience in community relations and customer service, with a solid educational background in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Mississippi State University.
