Susan Balsley

Susan Balsley is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in compensation strategy and human resources. Currently serving as the Executive Compensation & ESG Senior Director at The E.W. Scripps Company since July 2021, Balsley previously held roles at State Auto Insurance as the Executive Compensation & ESG Director and Reward, Recognition & Process Improvement Director, where critical insights shaped executive decision-making. Prior positions include Director of Compensation for North America at Prysmian Group, Senior Compensation Analyst at Scripps Networks Interactive, and various roles in corporate accounting at Cinergy Corp and Provident Bank. Balsley holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Indianapolis, completed in 1995.
