Vagelis Kontopos

Vagelis Kontopos has extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and compensation across multiple positions at The E.W. Scripps Company since August 2008, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior roles included Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President of Compensation and Benefits, and Senior Director of Compensation and Health and Welfare Benefits. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Senior Auditor at Rippe & Kingston and as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte. Vagelis Kontopos holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business, earned between 2000 and 2005.
