Jeff Dean

Jeff Dean began their work experience in 1995 at Rockwell Automation as a Software Engineer, where they developed multiple Microsoft platform components and led a team to create a human machine interface software product. In 2002, they started their own business called Tall Grass Treasures, where they were the Owner and built and maintained a ZenCart website. Jeff used search engine optimization and Adwords to drive traffic to the site. In 2011, Dean joined ScriptPro as a Senior Software Systems Engineer and later took on roles such as Software Systems Engineer IV, Systems Architect, and Solutions Architect. Jeff played a key role in developing platform solutions, modernizing centralized monitoring and update systems, and improving the reliability and speed of installing software products. Dean also initiated the adoption of Chef software for configuration management and integrated Azure DevOps pipelines to manage automated testing, builds, and releases.

Jeff Dean studied at the Southeast College of Technology from 1991 to 1992, where they earned an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Computer Programming & Information Processing. In addition to their formal education, Jeff has obtained several certifications, including "What Is Generative AI?" from LinkedIn in July 2023, "Sierra Club - Outings Leader Training" from Sierra Club in March 2023, and "Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED" from American Red Cross in February 2023.
