Ruben Mejias Calderon has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ruben started their career in 2005 as a Customer Service representative at Col·legi de Farmacèutics de Barcelona. In 2006, they worked as a .NET developer at Serimag and as a Web developer at Cirene 2000, S.A. Ruben then joined Proximity Barcelona in 2008 and held various roles including Programmer Analyst and Digital Production Manager, where they managed the development and maintenance of digital campaigns. Since 2015, Ruben has been working at SCRM - Lidl International Hub, initially as the Technical Director, and currently as the Chief Technology Officer. Overall, Ruben's experience encompasses roles across web development, programming, project management, and digital production.

Ruben Mejias Calderon obtained a Master's degree in Blockchain & Crypto from Nuclio Digital School in 2023. In 2014-2015, they earned a Master's Degree in Design and Internet Web Project Direction from Barcelona School of Design and Engineering (ELISAVA). Prior to that, from 2002 to 2008, Ruben Mejias Calderon was a student at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they received their degree as an Ingeniero Técnico Informático de Gestión in the field of computer science. In addition to their formal education, Ruben Mejias Calderon has also obtained certifications such as Foundation Workshop from Management 3.0 in 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2020, and Google Tag Manager Fundamentals and Analytics from Google in 2015.
