Tristan Boutros began their work experience as a Software Development Manager at IAC in 2006. Tristan then joined BlackBerry as a Senior Manager of Technology in 2008. In 2013, they moved on to Warner Music Group, where they served as the SVP of Technology and Business Process until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, Boutros worked at The New York Times as the COO of Digital Product, Technology, and Design. In 2017, they became the EVP and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ASCAP, taking on the responsibility of overseeing the product, technology, and data engineering organization. Finally, in 2022, Boutros became the Chief Executive Officer at Scrum Alliance, where they continue to support the agile movement and drive the organization's mission.

Tristan Boutros has extensive education and certification history. Tristan currently holds the position of Adjunct Professor in Computer Science at Columbia University since 2017. Prior to this, Tristan completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Honors Business Administration from the University of Windsor. During their undergraduate studies, they pursued a double major in Marketing and Management, with a minor in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Tristan has obtained numerous certifications in various fields.
