Xavier Quesada Allué

Xavier Quesada Allué has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Agile coaching and management consulting. Xavier founded and currently serves as the Managing Partner and Chief Product Owner at Agilar, an Agile coaching and consulting firm. Xavier has been with the company since its establishment in 2007 and is the oldest and most experienced Agile consulting firm in Spanish-speaking markets and in Belgium.

In addition to their role at Agilar, Xavier is also an Agile Leadership Guide at the Agile Leadership Journey since 2018. Prior to this, they were deeply involved with the Scrum Alliance, where they held multiple roles including Certified Scrum Trainer, Certified Enterprise Coach, and member of the Trainer Approval Community.

Xavier has also served as the President of Agile-Spain since 2019. Agile Spain is a non-profit organization that supports the Spanish Agile community by providing legal and financial assistance, moderating forums, and promoting Agile principles and practices.

Before their current roles, Xavier worked as a Senior Agile Transformation Coach at BNP Paribas Fortis and as an Agile Coach and Trainer at Proximus, where they successfully introduced Scrum into the organization and trained and coached numerous individuals in Scrum and Agile fundamentals.

Xavier has experience working in various other organizations such as the Belgian Post Group, where they served as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and Agile Project Manager, and Manpower Inc., where they worked as an SQL Server DBA and collaborated in project management.

Prior to that, they were an Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Developer at the Fédération Royale du Notariat Belge and a CTO & Devops at Axxon Solutions, where they implemented and supported technical infrastructure and served as a technical consultant.

Overall, Xavier Quesada Allué has a wealth of experience in Agile coaching, consulting, and leadership roles, and has made significant contributions to the Agile community in various organizations and initiatives.

Xavier Quesada Allué began their education journey at Cornell Elementary School from 1982 to 1985. Xavier then attended General Urquiza Day School for three years, from 1986 to 1988, where they completed their primary education. Following this, they enrolled in Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, a secondary school, from 1989 to 1994, specializing in Bachiller orientado a Ciencias Exactas y Naturales.

After completing their high school education, Xavier pursued higher studies in Computer Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires. Xavier attended the university from 1995 to 1999, although there is no specific mention of obtaining a degree.

Xavier Quesada Allué has also obtained various certifications related to the field of project management. In 2007, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. The following year, in 2008, they obtained the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification. Continuing their professional development, Xavier achieved the Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) certification in 2009. Additionally, they became a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) in 2011 and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in 2012, both through the Scrum Alliance.
