Howard has been marketing and reselling products over the past 20 years through the internet and traditional Retail.
Howard attributes his company’s success to a dedicated workforce, committed to making decisions and taking ownership of actions without bias or red tape. Under Howard’s leadership, SCS Direct prides itself on its unique ability to be adaptive to all situations. From product mix to geographic penetration to strategic focus, SCS Direct is an ever-changing company that evolves rapidly. Each year in retrospect proves to be completely different than the year past. Under the adversity of COVID-19, SCS Direct has adapted its product decision-making strategies and is experiencing record revenues and profits, which Howard projects will continue into the new decade.
Howard graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 with a major in entrepreneurial studies and marketing. Upon graduation, Howard worked for six years at the Danbury Mint, MBI, first as a Program Manager and then as a Product Development Manager. He left in 1998 to start his own business producing his homegrown invention–the Beanie Baby Tag Protector. Howard has been continuously entrepreneurial since he was nine years old selling popcorn and candy at parades, and he has started and run businesses non-stop since that time. His willingness to learn from failures and adapt for success has positioned SCS Direct and himself as leaders in the digital retail space.
