Jack Dowden

Jack Dowden is a Senior Project Manager at SCS Engineers since May 2013, with extensive experience in environmental management and engineering spanning over three decades. Previously, Jack held the position of Group Director at Waste Management for over 14 years, overseeing a team responsible for managing 40 closed landfills with a substantial annual budget. Additional roles include Senior Consultant and Senior Construction Manager at Montgomery Watson Constructors, and Director at Foth & Van Dyke Associates, managing environmental projects and client services in solid waste management and electric utilities. Jack began their career as an Environmental Programs Manager at Waste Management of North America and has held project management and hydrogeology positions at Roy F. Weston, Inc. and Dames & Moore. Jack holds a Master's degree in Hydrogeology and Water Resources from the University of Nevada and a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.
