Emma Goldstein has a diverse work experience in the fields of sustainability, aquaculture, and marine science. Emma currently works as a Technical Specialist and Senior Lead Auditor at SCS Global Services, where they conduct audits and supports quality control activities. Previously, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant III at the University of California, Berkeley, managing a zebrafish facility and supervising volunteers and staff. Emma also has experience as a Hatchery Technician at Blue Ocean Mariculture, conducting research and leading guided tours. Emma has worked as an Aquaculture Research Assistant at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and as a Living Systems Laboratory Technician at the Exploratorium. Prior to that, they worked as an Interpretive Naturalist at the Aquarium of the Bay and as a Naturalist at San Francisco Whale Tours.

Emma Goldstein completed their education with a Master of Professional Science degree in Marine Ecosystems and Society from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science in 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Biology with a Marine emphasis from Humboldt State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their academic degrees, Emma also obtained additional certifications, including ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from SCS Global Services in 2021 and a Master Scuba Diver certification from PADI in 2019.
