Stefan Bergmann

Stefan Bergmann has an extensive work experience in the natural resources and environmental sector. Stefan currently serves as the Director of Sales, Natural Resources Division at SCS Global Services, where they lead sales and marketing initiatives for their Forest Conservation Program and develops due diligence systems for wood importers. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Consultant at Stefan A. Bergmann, LLC, offering consulting services in business development, sustainability certification, and marketing. Stefan also held positions at Rainforest Alliance, where they managed Forest Stewardship Council certification auditing services, and at the Forest Products Society, where they served as the Executive Vice President, overseeing marketing and communications strategies. Earlier in their career, Bergmann served as the Executive Director of the Great Lakes Forest Alliance, the Associate Outreach Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and held various roles at the Northeastern Area Association of State Foresters, including Executive Assistant and Legislative Assistant. Overall, Bergmann's work experience demonstrates their expertise in sales, forestry certification, sustainability, and strategic planning in the natural resources sector.

Stefan Bergmann earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Entrepreneurship/Innovation, Strategy, and Marketing from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Forest Resources from Oregon State University in 2001. Stefan also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Wildlife Science from Oregon State University, which they completed in 1997. In addition to their academic degrees, they have obtained various certifications including ISO 9001 Quality Management System from ISO - International Organization for Standardization, FSC Forest Management Lead Auditor from Forest Stewardship Council U.S., and UC Davis MBA Leadership Fellows Program from UC Davis Graduate School of Management, all in 2017.
