Carla Shearer

Carla Shearer has been in the telecommunications industry for over 25 years. Carla started their career as an office manager and data collector before moving into management at Home Communications, Inc. In September 1989. Carla became the President and CEO of the company in May 2014.

In September 2015, Carla became a consultant for the City of Canton, Kansas where they were tasked with reviewing job descriptions, improving processes and procedures, developing training for the incoming City Clerk, and overseeing the transition to a new billing system. Carla also reviewed existing contracts, leases, and licenses with various vendors and entities, and presented their findings and recommendations to the City Council.

In October 2015, Carla was hired as the CEO of SCTelcom. Under their leadership, the company has seen significant growth and expansion. Carla is passionate about providing quality telecommunications services to their customers and is always looking for ways to improve the company.

Carla Shearer has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Kansas State University and an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from Hutchinson Community College.
