Deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), an agency of the U.S. Federal Government. The shares and deposits of this credit union in excess of NCUA limits are fully insured by the Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).

Membership in SCU Credit Union is open to people who:

1. live, work, attend school, college or university, or have a usual place of business in

•	Norfolk, Suffolk, Middlesex, Plymouth, Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes and Nantucket counties of the commonwealth of Massachusetts,
•	the Providence, Bristol and Newport counties of the State of Rhode Island,
•	and the following towns in Worcester county of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts: Blackstone, Hopedale, Mendon, Milford, Millville, Northbridge, Southborough, Upton, Uxbridge and Westborough, or

2. are family members of eligible persons, regardless of location.
