Sean Nelson

Sean Nelson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Equity Trader at Sculptor Capital Management since June 2022. Previously, Sean held trading positions at LNZ Capital LP from September 2015 to January 2022 and at Ladenburg Thalmann as an Institutional Sales & Trading specialist from September 2012 to August 2015. An early career in finance included roles as an Equity Research Intern at Mizuho Securities USA Inc. in 2012, followed by internships at Zimmer Lucas Partners and UBS Wealth Management. Sean began their career as a Lifeguard/EMT for the Borough of Spring Lake Beach Department from 2006 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Business Administration degree in Finance from Fordham University, completed in 2012, and a High School Diploma from Christian Brothers Academy obtained in 2008.
