Cindy Butler

Cindy Butler has a diverse range of work experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Cindy currently works as an Assistant Accountant at Scurri since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Accounts Technician at Pure Oil Ltd from October 2020 to November 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Volunteer Bookkeeper at Harvest Kuala Lumpur in 2018, and as an Account Technician at AIR SELECT Airconditioning and Ventilation from 2010 to 2011.

Cindy's most prominent role was as a Senior Accountant at Nexia Cape Town from May 2006 to August 2008. In this role, they performed various accounting tasks such as data entry correction, audit client's accounting data file, financial statement preparation, payroll reconciliations, staff training, and tax obligations calculation.

Additionally, they have experience as an Assistant Accountant at Ciolli Bros (Pty) Ltd from October 2005 to April 2006, and at Randplan Financial Services from February 2004 to September 2005. At Randplan Financial Services, they handled bookkeeping functions, audit file preparation, VAT returns and reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and payroll functions.

At the start of their career, Cindy worked as a Bookkeeper at Technimark SA from August 2000 to January 2004, and at Proton Marine from February 1999 to July 2000. Both roles involved general bookkeeping responsibilities.

Cindy Butler's education history begins with their completion of a Diploma in Data Analytics for Business from CCT College Dublin, which they earned from 2022 to 2023. Prior to this, in 2022, they also studied Data Analytics at The Open University Business School. Continuing their education, from 2019 to 2020, Cindy pursued an Accounting Technician degree at Accounting Technicians Ireland, specializing in Accounting Technology/Technician and Bookkeeping. Finally, their earliest recorded education was at Brackenfell High School, where they obtained a Senior Certificate in 1997.
