Evren Ozkaya

Evren Ozkaya has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of supply chain management and consulting. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of SCW.AI by Supply Chain Wizard, where they lead the development of a next-generation digital factory platform for self-driving supply chains.

Prior to this, Evren Ozkaya founded and served as the CEO of Supply Chain Wizard, LLC, a management and technology consulting company specializing in serialization (Track & Trace) programs for the pharmaceutical industry and supply chain strategy and optimization for manufacturing industries. In this role, they provided expertise in serialization strategies, project management, and vendor selection, and also conducted supply chain diagnostics and designed supply chain transformation programs.

Evren Ozkaya is an active member of advisory boards in academia, including the Industrial Engineering Advisory Board at Bilkent University and the Business and Computer Science Department Advisory Board at Middlesex County College. Evren is also an advisory board member for the Master of Supply Chain Analytics Program at Rutgers Business School and the Big Data Certificate Program at Rutgers. Furthermore, they collaborate with the Health & Humanitarian Logistics Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology to improve food and medicine distribution systems in developing countries.

In the past, Evren Ozkaya served as a Supply Chain Expert Advisor for the United Nations World Food Programme, providing consulting support for supply chain strategy and organizational design initiatives. Evren also held leadership positions at Sandoz, where they oversaw the global Track & Trace Program, addressing regulatory requirements for serialization and product tracking, and led the Executive Sales & Operations Planning and strategic planning efforts in North America.

Evren Ozkaya obtained their Ph.D. in Supply Chain and Logistics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the same institution from 2004 to 2005. Evren began their academic journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Evren Ozkaya has obtained several certifications. Evren is a delegate of the Moonshots and Moneymakers Oxford Innovation Conference, awarded by Birthing of Giants in August 2022. Furthermore, in September 2019, they successfully completed the Birthing of Giants Fellowship Program, also awarded by Birthing of Giants Fellowship Program.
