Armen Ghambaryan

Armen Ghambaryan has worked in the tech industry since 2015. Armen began their career at the Central Bank of Armenia as a Data Scientist/ Model Operator and a Macroeconomist. In 2018, they founded Protogen and in 2019 they became an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching Data Structures and Algorithms at the American University of Armenia. In 2017, they joined Develandoo as a Senior Data Scientist and a Data Scientist. In 2020, they became the Lead Deep Learning Engineer at Scylla.

Armen Ghambaryan has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Food and Beverage Market from the Armenian State University of Economics (2013-2016), a Master of Arts (M.A.) in An Econometric Analysis of Food Security from the same university (2011-2013), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Venture Capital Investment in Environmental Technologies from the same university (2007-2011). Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, Udemy, and other institutions, including the NVIDIA DLI Certificate – Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA Python (2021), Recommender Systems and Deep Learning in Python (2019), Deploy Machine Learning & NLP Models with Dockers (DevOps) (2018), Complete Guide to TensorFlow for Deep Learning with Python (2018), Scrapy: Powerful Web Scraping & Crawling with Python (2017), and Spark and Python for Big Data with PySpark (2019).
