Christopher Anastasi

Christopher Anastasi has extensive experience in the clinical operations field. Christopher started their career in 2008 as a Clinical Operations Analyst at IRX Therapeutics, Inc., where they assisted in the development and coordination of a Phase 3 study in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Christopher also played a key role in reviewing and revising study documents and managing FDA correspondence.

In 2013, Anastasi was promoted to the position of Clinical Trials Associate/Finance and Business Development Associate at IRX Therapeutics, Inc., where they assisted in the development of Phase 1 study designs and drafted protocol synopses for multiple studies. Christopher also managed cost projections and initiated requests for proposal with various study vendors.

From 2013 to 2017, Anastasi served as a Clinical Operations Manager at IRX Therapeutics, Inc. Christopher managed various aspects of a global Phase 2b study in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and collaborated with medical affairs and regulatory groups to design and implement multiple oncology studies.

In 2017, Anastasi became a Global Clinical Trial Lead at IRX Therapeutics, Inc., overseeing the conduct of multinational Phase 2b and Phase 1 & 2 studies in multiple oncology indications. Christopher managed a team of project managers, data managers, CRAs, and trial coordinators.

In 2018, Anastasi transitioned to become a Clinical Development Consultant, advising early-stage oncology companies on study management, clinical development strategy, vendor management, and study logistics.

Currently, Anastasi is working as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations at SCYNEXIS, Inc. Christopher'sresponsibilities include improving and optimizing departmental processes, overseeing multiple global Phase 3 clinical trials, and managing a team of study managers, consultants, and clinical trial associates. Christopher also contributes to the clinical development strategy, ensuring compliance with ICH and GCP guidelines.

Christopher Anastasi attended Aspen High School from 1998 to 2002. Christopher then went on to pursue a BA degree in Political Science and Philosophy at Boston College from 2002 to 2006.
