Gerome Schutte

Gerome Schutte is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full stack development. Currently serving as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Scytale since August 2025, Gerome has previously held positions at Naked Insurance from November 2020 to January 2025, and at Jemstep, Inc. from July 2019 to November 2020 as a Full Stack Software Engineer and Intermediate Full Stack Software Developer, respectively. Early career experience includes roles at Retro Rabbit, ExplorIT, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pretoria. Gerome holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pretoria, completed in 2018.
