Alvin Lee

Alvin Lee is a seasoned professional in the cocoa and chocolate industry, currently serving as Head of Commercial at SD Guthrie International since November 2023, where responsibilities include leading trading and sales teams. Previously, as Commercial Director at Cargill from April 2015 to May 2023, Alvin played a pivotal role in regional and global leadership teams, influencing M&A activities and directing a talented team to support a greenfield processing facility in Gresik, Surabaya. During earlier tenures at Cargill, Alvin advanced from Commercial Manager to engaging in leadership roles within the Cocoa Association of Asia, including Chairman, focusing on member engagement and international conference organization. Previous experience includes significant roles at Kerry and Archer Daniels Midland Company, with a strong track record in procurement and risk management, complemented by a Bachelor of Business Management from Singapore Management University.
