Bee Lay Tan

Bee Lay Tan has an extensive work experience in sustainability and consultancy roles. Bee Lay is currently a Partner & Head of Sustainability at Global Green Connect since April 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Sustainability Officer at SDAX Exchange Pte. Ltd. from February 2022. Bee Lay also held the position of Lead Auditor at Certificadora Gallega del Noroeste, S.L. (CGN) Southeast Asia Office from January 2019 to June 2023. Prior to that, Bee Lay Tan worked at RHT Group of Companies, where they served as the Chief Sustainability Officer at ONE RHT from August 2021 to March 2022. Bee Lay was also a Director & Principal Consultant at RHT Green from March 2021 to March 2022, and at 1920RHT from June 2019 to August 2021. Bee Lay Tan's earlier experience includes roles at SYR Solutions Pte Ltd, where they were an Advisor from August 2021 to March 2022, and Founding Director of Sustain Your Solutions (SYRS) from July 2007 to August 2021.

Bee Lay Tan holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore. Bee Lay also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems from the University of Brighton. In addition, they obtained a GCE O Levels degree from Raffles Girls' School in 1983 and a GCE A Levels degree from Raffles Institution in 1985. Bee Lay Tan also holds various certifications, including Senior Practising Management Consultant from the Singapore Business Advisors & Consultants Council. Other certifications include AA1000 Standards Assurance, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Reporting, Certified Environmental Social and Governance Analyst (CESGA), Certified Sustainability Reporting Assuror (CSRA), Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS), International Society of Sustainability Professionals Certification, International Sustainability & Carbon Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Sustainability Management Certified Professional (SMCP).
