Michael Y. Levin

Michael Y. Levin is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in big data, software development, and engineering leadership. As Co-Founder and CSO of SDF Labs since May 2022, Michael Y. Levin previously served as a Software Engineer at Facebook from July 2018 to May 2022, where contributions included leading the design and implementation of innovative data processing technologies. Prior experience at Microsoft spanned over 13 years, with roles including Software Development Lead and Principal Software Development Manager, focusing on big data streaming engines, monitoring and diagnostics systems, and security technologies. Michael Y. Levin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1998 and 2005.
