Fikru Meilán Garrido

Fikru Meilán Garrido worked as an Analyst at SDG Group from October 2022 onwards. Prior to that, Fikru was a beneficiary of a research initiation scholarship at Universidade de Santiago de Compostela from September 2021 to December 2021. In this role, Fikru focused on modeling and visualizing concentration gradients of metals in the atmosphere and lung cancer mortality in Galicia using R-INLA. The project integrated air pollution monitoring and control with Public Health research.

Fikru Meilán Garrido completed their education in a chronological manner. Fikru began their academic journey in 2016 at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on Biology, Ecotoxicology, and Eco-physiology of Plants. Fikru successfully completed this degree in 2020.

Following their Bachelor's degree, Fikru continued their studies at the same institution and enrolled in a Master's program specializing in Statistical Techniques. The program, titled "Máster en Técnicas Estadísticas," provided him with a comprehensive understanding of statistics. Fikru pursued this degree from 2020 to 2022 at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela.

In addition to their academic achievements, Fikru Meilán Garrido also obtained a certification known as the First Certificate of Cambridge from Cambridge Assessment English in May 2015. This certification highlights their proficiency in the English language and adds value to their educational profile.
