Marta Folgar Martínez

Marta Folgar Martínez has work experience in three different companies. Starting in 2021, they had an internship at everis where they joined the Industrial Department and contributed to the development of a web application for Grupo Inditex. During this time, they gained knowledge in technologies like Spring Boot, React, and Redux. In 2022, they had another internship at AIMEN Centro Tecnológico, where they worked on their Bachelor's thesis project titled "Influence of reward function in reinforcement learning processes." Marta studied and tested different reinforcement learning algorithms and their application in an environment provided by the company. Currently, they are working as an Analyst at SDG Group.

Marta Folgar Martínez pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from 2018 to 2022 at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Prior to that, they completed their high school education in the field of Science and Technology, receiving a Bachillerato de Ciencias Tecnológicas from IES Praia Barraña from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Marta has obtained several certifications. In March 2022, they completed the "Reinforcement Learning beginner to master - AI in Python" course from Udemy. In December 2018, they obtained a driving license (Permiso de conducir-B) from the Dirección General de Tráfico. In June 2017, Marta achieved an English B2 certification from Cambridge Assessment English. Lastly, in August 2016, they participated in a language immersion program in English at the LINK SCHOOL OF ENGLISH MALTA.
