Christian Arber is an experienced professional in energy and environmental management, currently serving as the Founder of Wirkenergie since June 2023. Christian has held key positions such as Projektleiter Energie & Umwelt at Gemeinde Küsnacht since April 2020 and previously worked as Ingenieur Ernebare Energien at Limeco from February 2019 to April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Junior Asset Manager Nuklear, Kohle & Entsorgung at BKW AG from May 2016 to January 2019, where Christian focused on energy economic evaluations, nuclear energy, and project management. Christian's career began with an internship in Asset Management at BKW, and includes roles in visitor information and environmental education at Umwelt Arena Schweiz, project support at Klimastiftung Schweiz, and technical export at Heinrich Kübler AG. Christian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy and Environmental Technology from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and a CAS in Urban Forestry from the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons.
