Michael Strother, MBA, PMP®, PSM I®, currently serves as a Technical Project Manager at the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) since July 2023, where notable achievements include securing a $6M budget for the Variable Messaging System project and improving safety communication for approximately 25 million annual riders. Prior to MTS, Michael held the position of Senior Information Technology Program Manager at 4Liberty, Inc., refining project timelines and enhancing procurement accuracy for a large IT portfolio. Michael's prior experience encompasses a role as Senior Technical Program Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology, where project production increased by 15%, and as Senior Technical Project Manager with the US Navy, focusing on innovative engineering projects and compliance. Education includes an MBA concentrated in Project Management from Point Loma Nazarene University, a BS in Information Technology Management from National University, and an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from Coastline College.
