Joel Weirauch

Joel Weirauch has worked in the software engineering and DevOps field since 2008. Joel began their career as a Systems Developer at ProviNET Solutions, where they were responsible for creating and extending software and web applications, and dealing with the hosted infrastructure. In 2011, they moved to Trustwave as an Application Engineer, where they acted as a liaison between the software developers and the IT department. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Co-Founder at Crafted with Pixels LLC and a Backend Developer at Drifty Co., where they built a iOS and Android Deploy service and a Push notification service and API. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Wellbe Inc. as a Lead DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for the direction and implementation of DevOps and Operations practices. Joel then moved on to Bridge Connector and LeanTaaS as a Principal DevOps Engineer, followed by SDSE Networks LLC, where they are currently working on the productization of a Terraform, Terragrunt and Helm pipeline to produce AWS and Azure Kubernetes clusters containing the SDSE secure communications platform.

Joel Weirauch attended Bowling Green State University from 2003 to 2005, studying Computer Science. Joel then attended Ball State University in 2006, also studying Computer Science. Joel also has certifications in CCNA and MCP.
