Liza Brann is a Partner at Paul Hastings, where involvement includes significant cases such as Cellink v. Organovo and Honeywell v. Apple. In addition to legal practice, Liza serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Inc., providing free legal services to indigent clients, and as Vice Chair of the Board for the Emilio Nares Foundation, which assists families with children battling cancer. Liza obtained a JD from Harvard Law School and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University.

San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to low income individuals throughout San Diego County. SDVLP serves the most vulnerable members of our community: the homeless, abused children, domestic violence victims, elder abuse victims, veterans, immigrants, and HIV/AIDS sufferers. More than 75% of SDVLP's clients are women and children. Mission Statement: To provide equal access to the justice system by serving as a bridge between indigent and other disadvantaged people in San Diego County and the volunteer lawyers and others who are willing to donate their time and resources.
