Kenneth Johansen has a diverse work experience, starting their career as a Translator for Gyldendal, where they translated for Marie "konmari" Kondo. Kenneth then worked as a Consultant at Copenhagen Merchants, providing translation and business consultancy services, with a focus on biomass trading in Japan. Kenneth also worked as a Sales Manager at Management Events and provided simultaneous translation for Toyota marketing Japan at tolkene.dk.

In 2016, Kenneth joined Assemble, where they translated Danish to Japanese and worked on the translation of software and apps. Kenneth also exported IT solutions to public institutions in Japan. Kenneth later joined EasyTranslate as a Danish/English/Japanese translator.

In 2017, Kenneth took on the role of a Regional Manager at AsiaCorp, focusing on the Japanese food and beverage market. Kenneth also worked as a Business Development Manager at Weathernews Inc., where they provided safety services for fleet and operation management in the maritime industry. Kenneth then became an Official Performance Auditing Analyst, supporting charterers and vessel owners in managing their vessels' performance.

In 2021, Kenneth joined ZeroNorth as a Customer Success Manager, responsible for drybulk and tank customers within the shipping industry. Kenneth later took on the role of Senior Account Executive, generating revenue above expected targets and prospecting to qualify new customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Currently, Kenneth works as a Business Development Manager at Sea, where they focus on supporting charterers, traders, owners, and brokers in the DACH- and Nordic region. Their role involves digitizing workflows and managing freight transactions and fixtures from start to finish.

Kenneth Johansen began their education in 2004 at Vordingborg Gymnasium, where they completed their secondary education. In 2006, they attended Lolland-Falster Business College for a year. Kenneth then continued their education at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Japanese studies, specializing in Japanese language and culture, from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they spent a year at Nagoya University. From 2013 to 2016, they returned to Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen to pursue a master's degree in Japanese studies with a focus on intercultural business communication between Denmark and Japan. In 2014 and 2015, they also studied at Keio University's Graduate School of System Design and Management.
