Oleh Yermokhin has an extensive work experience that spans over several companies and roles.
Oleh started their career at GlobalLogic in 2007 as a C++/C# Developer, where they were responsible for implementing barcode standards and enhancements, creating specific tools for thermal printers testing, and supporting installshield projects. During their time at GlobalLogic, they decreased the delivery time of an iso image of the product from 3 hours to 5 minutes.
In 2013, Oleh joined Ciklum (Ellos) as an ASP.NET Developer. Oleh worked as part of an international team and was involved in implementing new business logic for the backend, adding new entities to the product hierarchy, and integrating Google Analytics. Oleh also conducted unit testing and assisted the QA team with functional testing.
From 2015 to 2018, they worked at ELLOS GROUP as a Senior System Developer and later as a Senior Backend Developer. Oleh played a key role in designing and launching a new set of systems to support e-commerce operations. Oleh also led a small backend development team and implemented various functionalities in the areas of order management, payment, and delivery. Oleh was also responsible for SRE activities, including on-call duties.
In 2018, they joined Columbus Sverige as a Senior System Developer. Oleh assisted major customers in their digital transformation journey, focusing on e-commerce engine, PIM, CRM, and system integrations.
In 2021, they joined Chinsay as a Senior Software Engineer. Oleh worked in the Data team and was involved in developing a cloud data platform using event streaming, event hub, data factory, and databricks. Oleh also set up embedding analytics with Looker, Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, and PowerBI. Oleh played an active role in coordinating with cross-functional teams through daily standup meetings.
Currently, Oleh continues their journey as a Senior Software Engineer at Sea/ by Maritech, after Sea/ acquired Chinsay. Oleh focuses on working with the data platform at Sea.
Oleh Yermokhin completed their education at Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University from 2003 to 2009, earning a master's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Mykolaiv State Computer School from 1996 to 2003, focusing on Computer Programming. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including being a Litium Certified Developer from Litium in October 2019, completing the "shaping-up-with-angular-js" course at Code School in July 2014, and becoming an InRiver Certified Developer through inRiver in November 2018.
