Simon Kitson

Simon Kitson has a diverse work experience in the fields of UX design, user experience, and web development. Simon is currently working as a Senior UX Designer at Sea/ by Maritech since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NFU Mutual as a User Experience Designer from June 2020 to June 2021, where they led design thinking workshops, conducted usability testing, and developed user flow diagrams and prototypes.

Before joining NFU Mutual, Simon served as the Head of User Experience at effect digital from October 2016 to June 2020. Simon also worked as a Senior Developer at Six from January 2016 to October 2016.

Simon has experience in managing teams and delivering creative digital solutions as they served as the Creative & Technical Director at Un.titled from September 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Front-End Developer at Cogent Elliott from December 2013 to August 2014.

Furthermore, Simon's experience includes working as the Deputy Creative Director and Head of Front-End Development at Palmer Hargreaves from June 2012 to November 2013 and September 2010 to June 2012, respectively.

Prior to that, Simon worked as a Senior Web Designer at Big Communications / Fuse Digital from April 2007 to September 2010. Simon also worked as a Senior Web Designer at Eazytiger from May 2006 to April 2007 and at Eikon from March 2005 to April 2006.

Simon Kitson attended The University of Huddersfield from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a BA(Hons) degree in Interactive Media.
