Tai Ellis

Tai Ellis is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles, culminating in the position of Managing Director at Sea-Flux Limited since January 2018. In this role, Tai is dedicated to reshaping the operation of commercial vessels by leveraging software to enhance safety and situational awareness while reducing risks to seafarers and the environment. Previous positions include Rotational Captain and First Officer at TB Marine Ltd and TB Marine, along with various officer roles on multiple vessels. Tai is currently pursuing advanced maritime qualifications at the NZ Maritime School, including degrees in Master 500 NC, Master Yacht, and Chief Mate Yacht under 3000 GT.
