Cassondra M. Cleek

Cassondra M. Cleek is an experienced veterinary technician with a diverse background in animal care and medical assistance across various organizations. Currently serving as a Veterinary Technician Intern at Sea Life Park Hawai'i, Cassondra has developed skills in the proper restraint and sample collection of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. Previous roles include working in the Neurology Department at Veterinary Specialty Hospital, where Cassondra assisted with patient care and anesthesia monitoring during complex procedures. As an Animal Care and Training Intern with the Navy Marine Mammal Program, Cassondra gained experience in marine animal anatomy, husbandry, and training. Additional experiences range from volunteering at Pillsbury Ranch and working as an Aquarium Intern at Living Coast Discovery Center to externship at San Diego Zoo Global. Cassondra holds an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Sciences from Broadview University-Orem and has a foundational background in animal behavior and client communication from prior roles at Timpanogos Animal Hospital.
