Emilie Harrell

Emilie Harrell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in social work and marine-related roles. Currently serving as a Dive Master at Dive Master since May 2019 and an intern at Sea Life Park Hawai'i since May 2018, Emilie assists in the care and training of various marine animals. Previous experience includes counseling individuals with substance abuse issues at Hina Mauka and providing intensive case management for survivors of human trafficking at Susannah Wesley Community Center. Emilie has facilitated support groups for torture survivors and supervised family support workers, demonstrating strong leadership and community coordination skills. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Emilie also holds a Dive Master certification from PADI.
