David Martyn, P.E., CSP, is a seasoned forensic engineer with extensive experience in maritime safety and regulatory compliance. Currently at S-E-A, Ltd. since June 2016, David specializes in analyzing mechanical failures, conducting marine accident investigations, and evaluating vessel safety, particularly in vessel stability and machinery systems. Prior roles include managing Outer Continental Shelf inspection activities for the U.S. Coast Guard, leading prevention operations on the Upper Mississippi River, and developing maritime training programs for national security initiatives. David holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and dual Master’s degrees in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, as well as Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
