Joonas Korhonen

Joonas Korhonen has over 8 years of experience in the tech industry. Joonas began their career in 2012 as a User Experience Lead at SkyNest Project, where they were responsible for leading a lean design team and communicating with development and operations teams. In 2013, they became a User Experience Engineer / Nestronaut at Nestronite, where they worked on mobile development with emerging web technologies. In 2014, Joonas joined JAMK University of Applied Sciences as a Project Specialist, working in the Need For Speed research program with a focus on web technologies. That same year, they also joined SC5 as a Senior UX Developer, where they did consultancy work with a focus on front-end development and UX design. Joonas also co-led SC5's largest onsite team. In 2018, Joonas joined Intergalactico as a Senior UX Developer. In 2019, they joined both Seaber.io as a Senior Frontend Developer and Mightifier as a Senior UX Developer. Lastly, they were a Co-Founder at Playground Helsinki Oy, where they developed and designed Sandis.co, an inspirational website and a community for parents of small children.

Joonas Korhonen attended Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Media Engineering.
