Denis Guppenen

Denis Guppenen is an experienced navigator with a diverse background in maritime and hydrographic surveying. Currently serving as a navigator at Seabird Exploration since March 2013, Denis specializes in navigation for 3D seismic vessels, handling project planning, equipment calibration, and online navigation using SeaProNav. Previous roles include on-line seismic navigator at WesternGeco during a high-resolution seismic project and navigator positions at CGG&ARGAS and Sevmorneftegeofizika focused on online navigation and processing for 3D seismic surveys. Prior experience encompasses hydrographic surveying with advanced equipment at GEOKEN, GeoPro GmbH, and SVAROG, as well as land surveying. Denis holds a degree from Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, completed in 2008.
