Michael Sargeant

Michael Sargeant currently serves as Vice President of Renewable Aviation for The Americas at Neste, focusing on promoting Sustainable Aviation Fuel to meaningfully reduce the aviation industry's carbon footprint. Since August 2016, Michael has concurrently led management consulting practices at Blue Sky Solutions, emphasizing strategy development and operational performance improvement. Prior experience at Shell International includes roles such as Global UL Fuel Commercialization Director and Global Operations Manager for Shell Aviation, where significant contributions included developing commercial strategies and managing extensive operational budgets. Michael's leadership within the Joint Inspection Group as Council Chairman helped establish an effective business model for the organization. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of The West Indies.
