Jason Burrett has been working in the telecommunications industry since 1988. Jason began their career as a Maintenance Engineer at British Telecom, followed by a Technical Support Engineer role at Cable London from 1994 to 2000. From 2000 to 2013, they worked at Global Crossing as a Project Support Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, and Network Operations Engineer (NOC). From 2013 to 2016, they were a Network Provisioner at Astreya Partners (Assigned Google). Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Seaborn Networks, where their roles include network architecture for Fibre and Submarine Line Terminating Equipment deployments, negotiating with Data Centre vendors, building infrastructure, Cable Station network design, Point of Presence & Backhaul Metro Network design, Factory & Purchaser acceptance testing, and provision of design and as-built space, power and environmental requirements.
