Nick Hodge

Nick Hodge has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nick began their career in 1989 as a Group Leader at Du Pont Central Research. Nick then joined DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Co. in 1993 as the Director of Medicinal Chemistry and Computer-Aided Design. In 1998, they became the Director of Drug Discovery Technologies at Caliper Life Sciences, where they negotiated and sold technology access programs to four large pharmaceutical partners. In 2001, they founded Amphora Discovery and served as Chief Scientific Officer, generating over $11 million in revenue in partnerships and sale of drug discovery programs. In 2009, they joined Ruga Corporation as the Vice President of Discovery. Finally, in 2014, they became the President and Chief Operating Officer of SeaChange Pharmaceuticals, Inc., providing SEAWare™, a stand-alone software package, to pharmaceutical research and development groups.

Nick Hodge obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara between 1978 and 1980. Nick then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Organic and Analytical Chemistry at Cornell University, which they completed in 1984.
