James Stallings joined Seacoast in March 2022 as Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer. In this role, he is responsible for the development of loan portfolio objectives, credit analysis and policies and procedures consistent with Seacoast’s strategic and risk tolerance goals.
James began his banking career in 1998 as a Management Associate and Credit Analyst at BB&T. After nearly 25 years of dedicated service, James advanced to serve as Senior Credit Executive overseeing a large team of credit officers and a portfolio of $60 billion. He has held a diverse set of roles, including overseeing credit for the commercial community bank, corporate C&I and specialty finance.
He earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business administration from Wake Forest University.
