Bruce Worthington

Bruce Worthington is an experienced professional in the drilling and well control sector, currently serving as the Head of Drilling and Well Control at Seadrill since September 2005. With over 17 years at Seadrill, Bruce has overseen various aspects of drilling technology, including sub-sea, surface, HPHT, and managed pressure drilling initiatives. Prior roles at Seadrill include Director of Operations, Rig Manager, Operations Manager, Head of Drilling and Operations Engineering, and Drilling Engineer. Bruce's prior experience includes various drilling positions at Parker Drilling, Apexindo, Kuwait Drilling Company, and Gulf Drilling from August 1996 to July 2005, as well as service in the New Zealand Defence Force from April 1986 to December 1995. Bruce holds educational credentials from the University of New South Wales, obtained between 2002 and 2004.
