Sagar Raut

Sagar Raut has over 18 years of extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Head of HSE Performance at Seadrill since November 2012, Sagar Raut has held multiple key positions, including HSE Manager for Africa and HSSEQ Manager for both the Middle East & Asia and Asia Pacific regions. Prior to joining Seadrill, Sagar Raut worked at Ensco plc, where responsibilities included advising on safety and health standards for the Middle East & Africa and implementing company management systems as an SHE Officer. Sagar Raut's career also includes roles as a House Surgeon at Sir J J Hospital and Parsee General Hospital, as well as serving as an Offshore Medic for Transocean Inc. Sagar Raut holds an MBA in Management from ICFAI and an MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai.
